Pre-Cast Slabs, Medallions and Terraces
This type of work is my specialty and to that end I am one of only a handful of people in the entire United State to work at this on a professional level. I travel the country to build these pieces and I teach a technique that I learned by studying with Maggie Howarth who is considered the world expert on pebble mosaics. This technique creates a product that is incredibly stable under heavy traffic and extreme weather conditions, it is also completely flat. These pieces are installed on a prepared base that is graded to create to guide water flow off the pebbles. I often work with Landscape Architects, Landscape Contractors and Masons to install these projects and the landscape contractors will go in and prep the site to get it ready for the mosaic installation.

INSITU
This work is called IN-SITU which means that instead of me building it at my workshop it is built on sight. There are generally reasons for this to happen based on the site perameters and the wishes of the client- for example they may actually want to see the work in progress as opposed to getting a weekly digital presentation via email if the work is done in the precast method.
